FK Irons' Darklab PowerBolt II provides tattoo artists with a refined user experience, featuring an impressive motherboard utilizing the latest technology, plus additional layers of electronic protection.
The PowerBolt II features an OLED digital display designed to offer an intuitive and user-friendly experience with an average battery life of 6-8 hours from a full charge. Charge the PowerBolt II in just two hours using a USB-C cable for best results. This cordless battery pack is compatible with Flux, Flux S, Flux Max and EXO tattoo machines and has built-in Killswitch connectivity.
The built-in three-button display allows tattoo artists to view, access, switch between menus, and adjust settings without using the Darklab app. Menu options include:
Main power display - in hertz (Hz) or volts (V)
Secondary power display - with the alternative power unit than selected above
Voltage setting - display voltage in 0.1 or 0.5 V steps
Footswitch - enable Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for wireless connection to the Darklab Killswitch footswitch
eGive - from level 0 (eGive disabled) to levels 1, 2 and 3 (strong, medium and soft impact)
Once adjusted, the device will sense the voltage of the doses used and run an algorithm to ensure that the eGive is consistent with the selected level.
Timer - track your session time (ideal for artists who charge by the hour)
Screen orientation - choose left or right-handed operation
Shipping - a "killswitch" on the device to ensure it doesn't accidentally turn on when traveling, especially by plane
The PowerBolt II offers a voltage range of 4 to 12 V, with the option to use the device at 4 V, making it ideal for styles such as spotting.
